Experience
Timothy Kent, AIA, LEED® AP, has over 25 years of experience in the architectural industry. His diverse experience includes projects in the financial, educational/institutional, commercial/retail, industrial, religious and residential industries with construction budgets ranging from $100,000 to $30 million.
Kent, a Wisconsin Registered Architect since 1997, earned his Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technician/Structural from Moraine Park Technical College in 1990. His drive, talent, creativity, and experience helped him achieve his architectural registration with his associate degree. As an active advisory committee member for Moraine Park’s Civil Engineering program, Kent helps instructors keep the training relevant and current by sharing his experience and industry trends. For his contribution to the program (as a graduate) and for his continued occupational excellence and civic participation, Kent was awarded the Moraine Park’s Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2003.
In 2009, Mr. Kent was also designated a LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional (AP) in New Construction. As a LEED® AP, Kent has a thorough understanding of green building practices, the LEED® certification process, and rating system.
Kent’s creativity and enthusiasm for architecture is engaging and has earned him additional recognition. As Project Architect at previous firms, two of Kent’s projects won awards including “Projects of Distinction 2004” (Dane County Credit Union - Madison, WI) by The Daily Reporter and “Best New Construction 2007” (2801 Enterprise Ave LLC Office Building/Larson Engineering Center – Appleton, WI) by Fox Cities Magazine.

As principal architect, Kent is involved from the feasibility phase through the design and construction of your project. This personalized service assures that you will receive consistency throughout the project to achieve the results anticipated.
AIC’s creativity, enthusiasm for design, and attention to quality details will also enhance your design experience. The firm strives for open communication and encourages your involvement by integrating 3D design software (Revit Architecture) in the design phase. Interior and exterior 3D images are tools used to illustrate design concepts, which leads to valuable discussions relating to space and design needs.
